WEAR FOR MEMORIES
The smallest state in America, Rhode Island is known for its miles of gorgeous ocean views and its historic New England charm. Originally named for the Mediterranean island of Rhodes, the Ocean State was one of the original thirteen colonies, and the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
We take great care in not only the design of our products, but how they are made. Our jewelry is manufactured with quality partners who take pride in their work. We work with ethically sourced components and recycled metals to assure a high level of quality manufacturing.
We care about what is in our jewelry as much as we care about what isn’t. We use recycled materials when crafting our jewelry. Our metals are blended with safe, eco-friendly materials and fabrications, a.k.a., they're all nickel-free and pass high testing levels for quality and safety.
The symbolism featured in our products is thoughtfuly crafted and meticulously researched to represent authentic meaning. But that is only half the power of the charms. The best meanings are given to each piece by you.
Our jewelry was created with the utmost love and care. Follow these guidelines to help keep your jewelry looking its best year after year.
Use the ALEX AND ANI polishing cloth to effectively clean your jewelry – both Trend and Precious metals.
If your jewelry requires further cleaning, use mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Use the soft toothbrush to clean crystals if necessary. Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing.
To avoid black markings either on your skin or the bangles, be sure to clean your bangles regularly. These markings are due to trapped oil and dirt in the metal and can be easily cleaned.
Never use jewelry cleaner on Trend pieces. Jewelry cleaners are too harsh and may contain abrasives. Do NOT follow the advice of those (YouTube) videos demonstrating the use of ketchup or any other cleaning agents to clean your beautiful bangles… Yikes! Acidic products will eventually strip the finish and void the warranty.
Always store each piece separately, especially our expandable necklaces. The best way to store your necklaces is to hang them.
Always remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, doing household chores or using abrasive cleaners.
Apply beauty products such as perfume, hairspray or lotions before wearing your jewelry as certain chemicals in these products may damage the finish.
