I. Repairs and Returns

a. What is your repair policy?

If your jewelry is in need of repair due to a manufacturer defect within one year of purchase, you should contact customer service at international@alexandani.com. Provided that you have the original sales receipt and/or packing slip, or if customer service can otherwise verify your purchase, Alex and Ani will repair or exchange it with the same product when available upon receipt of the returned item. If the same product is not available and the item cannot be repaired, an item of equal value will be offered. Items purchased at a retailer other than Alex and Ani must be returned to that retailer. If you purchased your items through this website, customer service will direct you to include a description of the problem along with your name, shipping and email address.

Please note that our sterling silver and 18kt gold vermeil items are part of our Precious Collection and carry a repair fee if repairs are required between 60 days and one year from date of purchase. Again, please contact Customer Service at international@alexandani.com before sending in your Precious Collection for repair. Russian Silver and Russian Gold will oxidize over time. This is a natural process and is to be expected. The finish may change and appear aged. This is not tarnishing. It is the nature of the jewelry. Please read our care guidelines on how to maintain the items you purchased. Thank you for the opportunity to provide empowering symbols and protective pieces.

b. Can I bring my repairs into one of your retail locations?

Alex and Ani repairs must be returned to the point of purchase. Products purchased from Alex and Ani online, should be handled solely through this website. Items purchased at a retailer must be returned to that retailer.

c. I’m not fully satisfied with my AlexandAni.com purchase. Can I return it for a refund?

If you are not completely satisfied with the energy of your purchase within 60 days of it being shipped, you should contact customer service at international@alexandani.com for an accommodation credit upon return of the item. The item must be unworn and with the UPC label attached and the original sales receipt and/or packing slip. If you cannot locate the receipt and/or packing slip, customer service can look it up for you.

d. Can website returns be processed in your retail stores?

Website returns are not accepted at our retail stores.

e. What is your return policy for international orders?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at international@alexandani.com and we will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded. Refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by our partner FiftyOne in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order.

III. Product Care and Content

a. What should I do if my jewelry requires cleaning?

If your jewelry requires cleaning, use a mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Never use jewelry cleaner on Trend pieces. Jewelry cleaners are too harsh and may contain abrasives. We recommend using a polishing cloth for Precious pieces.

b. Do your bangles have nickel in them?

Both Russian Gold and Russian Silver are nickel-free. Shiny Silver and Yellow Gold may contain Nickel.

c. What is the difference between Russian Silver/Russian Gold and Shiny Silver/Yellow Gold?

Our Russian Silver and Russian gold are our most popular finishes. They are a rich, eco-friendly matte Silver and Gold plated on a brass base. They have an antique look from the oxidation process and are coated with anti-tarnish to protect the piece and hold its finish. Alternatively, Shiny Silver and Yellow Gold (also eco-friendly finishes) are polished Silver and Gold plated on a brass base. They are also coated with anti-tarnish to protect the piece and hold its finish. Please keep in mind that not all Bangles are available in each finish. You can see which Bangles are available in which finish by going to the Bangle’s page and clicking the “Select Color/Material” dropdown menu.

IV. Other Product Related

a. How big are your bangles? I’m afraid they won’t fit my wrist.

Our patented Expandable Wire Bangles are adjustable down to two inches in diameter and expand to about three and a half inches in diameter. The average circumference (when they are delivered) is about seven and a half inches. Therefore, our Bangles are adjustable to fit almost any wrist.

b. Can I add multiple charms to one bangle?

At this time, we do not offer the option to add multiple charms to our Bangles as our Bangles look best when stacked.

c. Do you offer personalization?

Alex and Ani does not offer personalization or custom pieces. Each piece is designed to embody a person’s spirit and nature. a. I just submitted an order. Can I change it?

Please keep in mind that orders are processed as quickly as possible and, for this reason, cannot be changed once they are submitted.

b. Can my order be delivered internationally?

Yes. Through our partnership with FiftyOne, we are pleased to provide an enhanced international shopping experience for customers in over 100 countries. International shoppers now get the benefit of seeing Alex and Ani product prices in their local currency, guaranteed order totals, cost-effective international shipping, and much more. d. How will I know how much my order will cost?

Just add Alex and Ani items to your basket and click on the checkout button. FiftyOne will calculate and display a guaranteed order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs from our warehouse(s) in the U.S. to your selected international destination, as well as any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.

e. Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?

No. When you use the FiftyOne global checkout, you will be provided with a guaranteed order total in your preferred currency. The order total presented will be the exact amount that you will be billed by FiftyOne. There will never be any additional costs billed upon delivery or due as C.O.D. charges.

f. Who should I contact if I have questions relating to my order after I have made a purchase?

Please contact us at international@alexandani.com. We will gladly assist you with any questions relating to your international order. Can I purchase or redeem international gift cards? Unfortunately, we do not currently support the sale of gift cards to international customers or the redemption of gift cards for internationally-shipped orders.

Currently, FiftyOne supports Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, American Express, and China UnionPay, with additional payment options coming soon.

c. I live in the US. Can I use FiftyOne to ship an order internationally but pay in U.S. Dollars (USD)?

Yes, FiftyOne supports international gift-giving, in that you can receive a guaranteed Alex and Ani order total for an order that is shipping internationally, but pay in USD using a U.S. credit card. This also works if you’re and American traveling or living abroad.

a. What are my international shipping options?

Below is a summary of delivery promises for our international orders once your Alex and Ani item is prepared for shipping which varies from 3-5 days. You will be quoted a specific delivery promise at the time of checkout that is based on your selected destination country and the shipping methods available for the items in your shopping cart.

b. How much does international shipping cost?

International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired shipping speed, the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the FiftyOne global checkout based on the Alex and Ani items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.

c. Are there any items that cannot ship to my country because they are restricted?

If, for some reason, there are any Alex and Ani items that cannot be exported from the U.S. or imported into your destination country selection, FiftyOne will notify you during the checkout process.

d. Do you ship to PO boxes?

Alex and Ani does not ship to PO boxes.

e. Do you ship to U.S. military addresses (APO/FPO)?

Orders shipping to U.S. military addresses should go through our domestic checkout, as they are not subject to the same costs and logistics flows as our other international orders. To do this, you should shop as if shipping to an address within the U.S.

X. Billing

a. When am I billed?

Your credit card will be billed by FiftyOne at the time your parcel(s) leave the U.S.

b. How much duty and taxes are charged on international orders?

Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin (manufacturing) of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that FiftyOne supports. Value Added Tax (VAT) rates are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the FiftyOne global checkout.

Your credit card will be billed by FiftyOne and your credit card statement will read “51*AlexandAni” where “51” denotes the FiftyOne network.
