In 1830, the beautiful Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus, appeared to a nun named Sister Catherine LaBourne. The back features an "M" surmounted by a cross, representing Christ and our redemption, with a bar under symbolizing earth. Twelve stars surround the cross and "M" which represent the Apostles. Two hearts symbolize the love of Jesus and Mary for us.
