What is your repair policy?
If within 60 days your jewelry is in need of repair due to a manufacturer defect, Alex and Ani will exchange it with the same product when available. If the same product is not available and the item cannot be repaired, an item of equal value will be offered or a merchandise credit will be issued. If an item is in need of repair, it must be brought back to the point of purchase.
After 60 days you may have your item repaired when the original sales receipt is presented up to one year. Our sterling silver and 18kt gold vermeil items are part of our Precious Collection. They are held to the exchange guidelines above. Precious Collection items carry a repair fee if repairs are required between 60 days and one year from date of purchase.
Russian Silver and Russian Gold will oxidize over time; this is a natural process and is to be expected. Please follow our care guidelines to maintain your products.

Can I bring my repairs into one of your retail locations?
All repairs must be brought back to the point of purchase with original sales receipt and UPC label attached.What is your Website return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, it may be exchanged within 60 days of the date of purchase for an alexandani.com merchandise credit. The item must be unworn and accompanied with the UPC label attached and a copy of the sales receipt.

Once the jewelry is received, we will issue you a merchandise credit for the amount of order less the cost of shipping. The credit can only be redeemed on alexandani.com. It is the responsibility of the gift recipient to pay for shipping back to Alex and Ani.
Can website returns be processed in your retail stores?
Online returns can be processed at any Alex and Ani retail location, nationwide. Any purchases made at our boutique retailers should be brought back to the location at which it was purchased.

How can I tell if my Alex and Ani is authentic?
Alex and Ani jewelry is hand made in Rhode Island from recycled materials making every piece 100% unique and full of (+) Energy. Even though individual items may vary slightly, they still have a few things in common.
How can you spot a counterfeit? Every Alex and Ani bangle is adorned with three special tags so you'll know you're wearing the real thing. Each individual tag is stamped with "Made in America With Love," the Alex and Ani logo and our official patent number.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
International packages can be shipped from Alex and Ani retail locations only. Packages shipped internationally from a store will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS). When shipping internationally, customs fees may be charged. It is important to understand that if duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service, they are collected from the recipient. Postage is charged to cover the expense of delivery only. Postage does not cover charges assessed by customs in the destination country.
All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and assessment of duties, taxes, and fees in accordance with that country's national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the item sent is dutiable and if the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country's laws. Each country assesses customs, duties, and taxes. Check the Worlds Customs Organization website for general information, or visit the website of that country's customs service.
How do you ship?

Do you ship to PO boxes?
Alex and Ani cannot ship to PO boxes.
Do you offer Saturday delivery?
Alex and Ani does not offer Saturday delivery at this time.
What should I do if my jewelry requires cleaning?
If your jewelry requires cleaning, use a mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Never use jewelry cleaner on Trend pieces. Jewelry cleaners are too harsh and may contain abrasives. We recommend using a polishing cloth for Precious pieces.
Do your bangles have nickel in them?
Both Russian Gold and Russian Silver are nickel-free. Shiny Silver and Yellow Gold may contain nickel.
How big are your bangles? I’m afraid they won’t fit my wrist.
Our patented Expandable Wire Bangles are adjustable down to two inches in diameter and expand to about three and a half inches in diameter. The average circumference (when they are delivered) is about seven and a half inches. Therefore, our Bangles are adjustable to fit almost any wrist.
Can I add multiple charms to one bangle?
At this time, we do not offer the option to add multiple charms to our Bangles as our Bangles look best when stacked.
What is the difference between Russian Silver/Russian Gold and Shiny Silver/Yellow Gold?
Our Russian Silver and Russian Gold are our most popular finishes. They are a rich, eco-friendly matte Silver and Gold finish plated on a brass base. They have an antique look from the oxidation process and are coated with anti-tarnish to protect the piece and hold its finish. Alternatively, Shiny Silver and Yellow Gold (also eco-friendly finishes) are a polished Silver and Gold plated on a brass base. They are also coated with anti-tarnish to protect the piece and hold its finish. Please note that not all bangles are available in every finish.

Orders are processed as quickly as possible and, for this reason, cannot be changed once they are submitted.

Credit cards are charged at time of check out. Order processing time may be up to 10 business days before the order is shipped.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Every item that leaves our facility is packaged in a keepsake Alex and Ani pouch with meaning card and care instructions.
How can I pay for my order?
Alex and Ani accepts most major credits cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Customers that have received an e-gift card can also redeem them at time of check out.
