KEY HOLDER
The Key Holder is responsible for partnering with the store management to ensure that opening and closing operational duties are completed.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Be the driving force behind the Alex and Ani message of positive energy by setting the example for extraordinary client service and product knowledge
· Deliver consistent positive financial results through efficient store management execution in support of the store manager
· Be an expert on product knowledge by keeping current on all new collections as well as our core product lines
· Remain approachable and engage the client in conversation to be able to show the pieces that are appropriate · Communicate to management any knowledge of community events that would help to drive sales
· Achieve sales goals as set by the Store Manager
· Ensure the highest level of client service by assisting sales associates with various client issues including client concerns, returns, and special orders by empowering them to handle these issues with professionalism and confidence
· Continue to exhibit or correct behaviors discussed during monthly touch base sessions with management
· Continuously look for contact opportunities in developing the client database through individual interests, shopping habits and life events
· Complete all necessary administrative paperwork in a timely manner and provide monthly business reports as requested by Director of Retail Operations
· Ensure maintenance of inventory accuracy through delivery receipts and product sell through
· Execute merchandising plans to standard and provide options for product sell through
· Assist the management team in the protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss
· Consistently uphold a high level of cleanliness throughout the store and stockroom
· Communicate corporate directives to staff
· Comply with Retail Operations Manual procedures
Skills and Competencies:
· Minimum of two years retail experience
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to motivate sales teams
· Exceptional organizational skills.
