Sakonnet Summer Concert Series July Line-Up

July 3rd – KATE DIAZ
Seventeen-year-old Kate Diaz grew up near Chicago, IL and started playing solo acoustic shows at the age of 12. Over the years she has played at Lollapalooza, Milwaukee’s Summerfest, and House of Blues Chicago. She has won ASCAP songwriting awards for the past three years and has been a finalist and semi-finalist in several well-known songwriting competitions. Kate is self-taught in voice, piano, bass, drums, cello, songwriting and orchestral arranging. She will be attending Berklee College of Music and Harvard University. Kate released her fourth acoustic album in May 2014.

July 10th – JETTY
Jetty is a pop-soul group that formed in late 2012 and has since released 2 extended play, single albums. The band has been playing a number of gigs in New England, appearing several times a month at venues in Boston, Providence and Worcester. Recently, Jetty shared the stage with acts like Bleachers and Biscuits & Gravy.

July 17th – WILD ADRIATIC
Wild Adriatic is a dynamic rock and soul trio from Upstate New York, crafting a powerful yet subtle sound rooted in the basics of American rock and soul music. With a compellingly honest and raw live show, the band has been successfully making friends and fans across the country since January 2011. In the short time they’ve been together, Wild Adriatic has played with everyone from Phantogram to Deer Tick to Third Eye Blind to Matt & Kim and performed at SXSW, CMJ and Gathering of the Vibes.

July 24th – RACHAEL SAGE
NYC art-pop outfit Rachael Sage & The Sequins radiate what MOJO Magazine calls “warm… intelligent NY indie charm”. Lead singer and songwriter Rachael Sage is an innovative, improvisational keyboardist & guitarist, who performs over 100 dates a year with her band throughout North America, the UK, and Europe. They have brought two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with rave reviews and front-woman Sage has received numerous songwriting awards including The John Lennon Songwriting Contest Grand Prize in Rock.

July 31st – ALL GOOD
All Good performs originals and covers, blending blues, funk, acid jazz and many more influences into their signature sound. Using an improvisational and innovative approach, All Good brings the funk and the jam whenever they play!
