Alex and Ani Hosts Hasbro Children’s Hospital ‘All For One’ Event

On Thursday, May 5 the Alex and Ani Newport Store greeted friends, family and supporters of Hasbro Children’s Hospital in a “shop for a cause” event…

Guests were welcomed to shop while enjoying cocktails and appetizers, all in honor of the launch of the Alex and Ani exclusive Hasbro Hero’s Expandable Wire Bangle, which will hit come June.  The Hasbro HERO Charm represents the staff, supporters, family and children of Hasbro Children’s Hospital.  The charm bangle will be sold for $28.00 on Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design website, with 20% of proceeds supporting Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

“The event was amazing! It was such a positive event and one where everyone in attendance could literally feel the positive energy and vibe in the room.  It was a great kick-off to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital/Alex and Ani relationship and the support for the two separate organizations was joined together by the unveiling of the exclusive HERO charm. Hearing from Carolyn about the relationship and then from myself and Michelle Brannigan about the actual charm design and meaning really brought it full circle for all in attendance”. -  Mora Babineau

The HERO charm is a perfect design for Hasbro Children’s Hospital because it encompasses all of the different audiences that the hospital caters to. The kids, the caregivers and the supporters of the hospital can all find identity with this powerful word.  “HERO’s come in all shapes and size”,  and this will not be a limited charm for just Hasbro constituents but one that will reach beyond the walls of the organization and touch others, even strangers in a personal way.

“We are thrilled to team up with Hasbro Children’s Hospital.  This really brings Alex and Ani Charity by Design efforts close to home; as two Rhode Island based organizations are able to team up for something so positive.  We are very committed to and focused on this relationship with Hasbro Children’s Hospital so I look forward to what’s ahead for us.” – Nicki Castonguay, VP of Charity by Design
